Conficker C - Not A Usual April Fool's Day Prank

Conficker C is a Internet worm, a type of virus that has been in circulation since late 2008.
This worm or malware specifically targets Microsoft's operating systems.
This is designed to bypass popular security programs with a trigger date of April 1st 2009.
One of the first things it will attempt to do is turn off the automatic updates in Windows.
One of the many ways that your system can get infected is from e-mail attachments, links
to malicious websites and from downloading files from P2P networks.
No one is quite sure exactly what it will do on April 1st 2009.
Microsoft has offered quarter million dollar on the head of the writer of the worm.
From your end be sure to update all patches and make sure anti virus software is running.
